My Fine Art work explores gender stereotypes focusing on the taboos of socially acceptable female sexuality, I challenge to positively show the private life of the individual to the viewer.
Specifically in my work I have chosen to illustrate the role of mother and homemaker to contrast expected ideals.
Recently I have started creating more commercial illustration this idea was influenced while I was designing my annual Christmas cards for 2011, I wanted to challenge myself to see if I could produce a product that could be used more generally but still admired as a work of art. I don’t have a website for this at the moment all work is displayed on this blog.
