Progress of new work.

Just a quick snaphot of my current project metamorphose between animals and humans. An online journal of the project is on the Fabelist website

This project is focusing on the relationship between nature and human nature to reconnecting people with naturalistic principles, by informing self discovery I hope to portray women released from contemptible behaviour.

I thought I would share few of my drawings and eperiments so far which have included working in charcoal, paint, monoprint, etching and collage. Hopefully more etchings to come!

Love is the Law Press Launch

To celebrate the success of Issue #1 of Love is the Law magazine a private press launch will be tonight Sat 12th May at the Cob Gallery, London.

The editor will be handpicking a piece of my original artwork (i have no idea which one yet) to exhibit along with an original poster I have illustrated especially for the events sponsors Duvel beer (which i willl upload later)

From March-May I have a lot of Family/Friend’s birthday’s

so i decided to design a birthday card.

Latest sketch of my work for the Fabelist Collectives current project ‘Connect’.

My take on the project Connect was to try and involve my own practice, exploring the metamorphis between humans and animals exploring the similarities between their characteristics.

I had been reading Angela Carter’s Bloody Chambers, Carter writes about women at different stages  of there sexual development such as puberty, virginity, sexwith no social boundaries.

The story of wolf Alice specifically stuck in my mind and I started drawing sketches of women in animalistic poses, I like the naiviety of the wolf alice maturing and getting to know who she is physically and emotionally.

Volume Magazine Launch Night
